The basics are often the best. Does it get any more fundamental (and fundamentally awesome) than an adorable baby boy, his dog, and his loving parents?
Ziem initially met mom Jessica, a barre3 instructor, at a company event. After years of subsequently running into one another, Jessica called Ziem to book sweet baby Tristan’s six-month-photos – baby plus his best friend, that is.
I sometimes feel like I’m socially missing out because movies and TV shows are just not my jam. Alas, every January and February I find myself cramming in all the Oscar-nominated films in time for the big night. That’s not to say a good classic movie can’t be a great source of photographic interest for this Photographer-in-Chief. In fact, there is one movie in particular which has stood the test of time and continues to prove twenty-first-century. I can’t adequately express how excited I am to share these photographic gems resulting from such originality. “Stick with what works!” goes the expression, and in the case of the photogenic Roos family, shades of classic blue worked wonderfully at their mini-session. Initially, happy clients referred the Roos to Ziem. Turns out the Roos kids and Ziem’s attended the same preschool and have friends in common #smallworld. Some relationships are just meant to be, like the Roos and their preferred palette of blue. Austin family photographer
Family is a craftsman’s best piece of work. A rather successful one requires a lot of hand-in-hand and growing together as one. It is a work of art that requires immeasurable patience, hard work and love. Earlier today, I was blessed to photograph a great example of family. They recently welcomed Baby C – adopted just a few weeks ago out of state – into their loving home. It’s obvious she is loved by brothers, parents and grandparents to call her forever own. Tara contacted me just last week after having “poured over many photos” before stumbling upon my website. We instantly connected and chatted for a while, surprised our paths had not yet crossed. They spend half the year away so I’m glad the stars aligned today. Grandparents arrived earlier that morning, the weather was perfect and the boys were a joy to work with. I almost didn’t want to leave. . . but they had some bribes to cash in post-shoot.
