Celeste + Jamie = Engaged

I can’t think of anything more fun and inspiring than an engagement session, except maybe an engagement session with a charming, English bulldog! I was stoked about Fifa joining us for the e-session. He really did a great job of helping us maximize a day of fun in the park.

Thanks, Lisa, for coming all the way from Mexico Beach to help pose and direct Fifa. I hope you all have a great time in Jamaica!

Vy + Thomas = Engaged

This lovely couple flew in all the way from Dallas for their engagement and bridal session. The bride-to-be and I had been anxiously monitoring the weather channel for the past week, so we were thrilled yesterday morning to find scattered thunderstorms had been replaced by scattered clouds.

Our fun day of shooting began at 6:30am at a local state park, and ended on the beach right around sunset. During this session alone we were almost removed from the property by a park ranger, Vy forgot (then found many hours later) her veil at Seaside and we witnessed a sweet engagement on Panama City Beach. If the eventful day is any indication…one can only guess a fun and exciting wedding will follow in Houston this spring.

Here’s more than just a few of my favorites.

Kaison

Here’s a little guy that wears the pants..and takes them off.

Kaison and his father arrived this afternoon and were joined by their wonderful Mom/Grandmother who drove all the way from Georgia to help make this happen! After a few good minutes of shooting and chasing him around, Kaison jumped in the water and took off his pants.

I love photographing children on the beach. There are so many ways to make things work.

Annabella Burns

Baby season brings baby fever.

Aimee was scheduled for a maternity session back in August but little did we know Bella would have something to do with our plans. Mom was put on bedrest just days before the shoot and shortly thereafter delivered baby Bella a lot earlier than expected. I am so glad Mom and baby are happy and healthy and I hope there’ll be months and years of photographing to come.

It didn’t take baby Bella long to adapt to the studio setting. I think we have a little diva in the making.
