I hosted six lifestyle Mommy and Me sessions over the weekend and check how these ladies brought on another level of pretty. First of all, there’s never a shortage of lovely when it comes to my clients, but pure magic ensued when we married 1920’s vintage charm with modern details. As a mother of two, I understand how important it is to cherish our moments of simply being a mom. It seems like our babies grow so fast and if we don’t take the time to slow down and observe, me might just miss it.

Moms are often running a household, fixing boo-boo’s and doing so much for our children and community that we forget to take in the moments that make our bond unbreakable. So glad this gorgeous mom in particular got spoiled for Mother’s Day and was “forced” to jump in front of the camera.

Most of all, it was incredible to see how the simple act of slowing down for twenty minutes with no distractions, no cameras, and no smart phones in hand can also soothe the soul.

Here’s a client I finally got to photograph for the first time. Hopefully this won’t be the last. In addition to being the smiliest baby, she might also be the fastest. I love all her expressions and the way it made her gorgeous mama radiate.
